Clathroporina subpungens spore.

Spores are fusiform (pointed at both ends) with the mid cells usually larger, similar to some species of Arthonia. When mature they become 8 celled and measure 40-55x7.5-11 um. Another species, C. tetracerae, is very similar but has narrow spores.
