Arthopyrenula cinchonae

Prominent raised hemispherical perithecia on a white or grayish-white thallus are typical of this common lichen in Subtropical Florida. The ostioles are wide and easily seen with the naked eye. Thallus is normally slightly rimose (cracks forming polygons) and all spot tests are negative.
