Graphis librata

Apothecia that are long and narrow instead of round are called lirellae. With G. librata the lirellae are extremely flexuous and branching. They are usually at least partly immersed in the thallus. A drop of potassium hydroxide applied to the thallus produces at first a yellow spot which then changes to orange-red. |
